Education:
Japanese-style painting department of Tama Art University(1989)
Sugawara lived in Yamanashi and now in Otsu city of Shiga prefecture. The foreign ministries collect her works.

I listen to the breath of the season,give my heart to the voice of the ancient everlasting spring,and then, take a brush.It is like a prayer.

There are many fans of Sugawara's works that show the abyss of time and life with scent of modernity.She has painted on silk with excellent use of coloration from the back and also started working on paper. Either one you see, you will be charmed by the tenderness of it at first and then the essence comes on later. This time lag is irresistible.
